Thousands of people were left stranded in several areas of Sirohi and Jalore as spell of heavy rain continued to lash the region. Meanwhile, tourists in Mount Abu are facing difficulty in getting transport facilities in and out of the hill station due to heavy downpour. Sirohi, Jalore and Pali districts are continuously receiving heavy rainfall for the last 72 hrs causing flood-like situation in many rural areas. The situation in Sanchore is quite grim after the town is flooded due to heavy rainfall in the area damaging Sanchore lift canal. The Jalore administration continued rescue operations and rescued 142 person who were stranded amidst rains that caused rivers to overflow on the street and fields.
