The ACL initiative is designed to strengthen the competitiveness of West African suppliers, facilitate their access to financing, and harmonize regional mining practices. The President of FEDCOM, Adama Soro, reaffirmed the strategic importance of local content development for ECOWAS. The meeting was marked by the formalization of a joint Charter signed by the members of the Steering Committee, including Endeavour Mining, Allied Gold, CORICA, Ecobank, FEDCOM, Fortuna Mining, and Transport Dieye. This charter formalizes the framework for collaboration and strengthens the governance of the ACL, aiming to sustainably consolidate this regional initiative.
