Endangered blind rhino will be moved to incredible new home before poachers reach him


The 20-year-old animal, known as Munu, was found wandering around in circles in the bush of a South African reserve by park rangers. They quickly moved him into 6 x 6 metre temporary shelter as the animal conservation charity issued an urgent appeal to help fund a special facility for the animal. The charity said: "Every effort is being made to move Munu as quickly as possible to his new home. "Serious consideration has to be given to Munu’s security." TWLF Director, Shirley Galligan said: “Munu’s story is one of resilience, and against the odds this incredible animal has survived.
