BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav on Sunday said during a visit to China that it was time to end double standards on fighting terrorism at a time when it has become an instrument of state policy for some countries, addressing a rare political parties' meet of the five BRICS countries. Ahead of the September BRICS Summit in Xiamen, Fujian province, the Communist Party of China's International Department convened a gathering of political parties from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa in Fuzhou, the provincial capital of Fujian. Noting that it was for the first time that leaders of the political parties from BRICS countries have come together, Madhav highlighted terrorism as the single most lethal challenge to mankind today.
