This year's Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer has been cancelled due to poor air quality in Alberta. Nearly 1,900 riders started the two-day event Saturday morning, however deteriorating air quality due to smoke from wildfires in B.C. Riders arrive at a rest stop along the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer route on Saturday. Riders wait for transport back to Calgary after the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer was cancelled due to poor air quality. Olivier Bonne made it to the second rest area along the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer route on Saturday when he was stopped.
