A Reddit user recently revealed that his employer wants to check his phone, which he believes is ‘Illegal.’In the ‘Anti Work’ sub, a user named @BlueSeaChief claimed that his company required employees to download an app that would monitor their personal phone activity. ‘My employer recently switched to a new time card app that tracks my phone. However, I’m sure if you try to discuss this with senior management, the answer will be ‘If you don’t like it, leave’. If the company doesn’t pay for your phone service, they can’t even legally require you to download an app (like for a watch).
