Emotions run high as 14 students stuck in Auckland lift for more than two hoursLAINE MOGER/STUFF Fourteen students were trapped for more than two hours in a lift at an AUT residential building in Mount St on Saturday evening. Fourteen students found themselves trapped in a lift in an AUT residential building in Auckland on Saturday. Fire and Emergency were called to the Mount St apartments at 11pm. A teary eyed student told Stuff that after she entered the lift to go up, it unexpectedly started dropping, stopping and dropping again. The students were stuck for two hours all told.
