CALGARY — On an evening filled with indelible images and magical moments, a clip on TSN of an emotional Richie Hall stands out. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers defensive co-ordinator was overcome by emotion, tears flowing, as his team celebrated its first Grey Cup championship in almost three decades. You know he was thinking about his brother Michael, who would have been in attendance, had he not died suddenly of a heart attack in September. But you also know Hall was thinking about his players, a group of men he has grown to love like sons. The Bombers gave up 14 points against the Calgary Stampeders in the West semifinal, 13 against the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the West semifinal and 12 against the 16-3 Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the Grey Cup.
