Tired Kiwi firefighters returned home this weekend, blown away by the warmth expressed by Americans caught in the devastating blazes. Most of the New Zealand firefighters were fighting the Hirz fire and Carr fire, which has claimed 1,200 homes and 50 business, and the lives of 3 firefighters and 5 civilians.
