Jimmy Kimmel kicked off the 68th annual Primetime Emmy Awards this evening with nods to popular TV shows and a few political jabs. In a pre-taped bit, Kimmel was shown traveling to the award ceremony in a white Ford Bronco, a nod to FX’s acclaimed series “People v O.J. Kimmel also picked on a few audience members, including “Transparent” star Jeffrey Tambor and “People v. O.J. Simpson” star Sarah Paulson, who played Marcia Clark in the show – and brought Clark as her guest to the ceremony. Kimmel concluded with a riff on the rise of Donald Trump, and he singled out “Celebrity Apprentice” creator Mark Burnett in the audience.
