Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had an audience with actor and activist Emma Watson on Parliament Hill on Wednesday, as the Harry Potter star arrived in town to take part in the One Young World Summit. The 26-year-old Watson, who two years ago was appointed UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, praised Canada’s second-youngest-ever PM (Joe Clark, FYI) for his “inspiring” decision to make his cabinet an even split of women and men. The pair, along with former UN secretary general Kofi Annan, will meet MPs and speak Wednesday at 6 p.m. on the Parliament Hill steps, half an hour before the summit’s official opening ceremonies, which also take place on the Hill. One Young World is a U.K.-based global forum for young leaders aged 18 to 30. Other topics scheduled for the four-day event include poverty, employment, climate change, LGBT discrimination, technology, energy, depression and extremism.
