Middle-aged women love him the same way teenagers who weren't born when he released The Slim Shady LP do. He might not be cool like Lil Yachty or as relevant as Drake, but there's no denying the Detroit rapper has transcended regular celebrity, and entered the legacy artist realm. Releasing a dud album doesn't affect ticket sales, nor does their age. It doesn't matter that mumble rap frustrates him (and go figure, mumble rappers got famous doing the opposite of what he preaches) and it doesn't matter that his lyrical content isn't what it used to be. What we whinging critics have to say doesn't matter, either.
