The 33-year-old star portrayed iconic character Queen Daenerys Targaryen on the hit HBO fantasy series. Speaking to The Times , Emilia confessed that she "really felt" for Daenerys due to her tragic fate: being fatally stabbed by nephew-lover Jon Snow ( Kit Harington ) following Daenery's turn into a maniacal dictator. The actress said: "And yeah, was I annoyed that Jon Snow didn’t have to deal with something? She also compared the extremely bizarre experience of the show ending to "like coming out of a bunker".
