'I know it's hard to look at his hideously disfigured face, but he is loyal,' Colbert said as the camera showed the adorably puppy in closeup. 'Marshmallow recently ate the full manuscript for The Winds Of Winter,' he said, referencing the still unpublished penultimate novel in the Song Of Ice And Fire series from George R. R. Martin. The Me Before You actress held up a dark-snouted shepherd/hound mix named after the author, George R. R. Barkin.
