The Sixers’ Joel Embiid had his way with the Celtics’ defence on Wednesday, finishing with 37 points, 22 rebounds ... and a win. They’ve taken a near stranglehold on third place in the East behind the Bucks and Raptors. Gordon Hayward is also dealing with concussion issues and the Celtics can’t climb out of fifth in the East. In Philadelphia’s 130-125 win, Embiid had 40 points and 15 rebounds; Antetokounmpo had 52 points and 16 rebounds. It was the first time since March 1966 that opposing players each had 40 points and 15 rebounds.
