The SpaceX founder urged prominent Democratic congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to "stop hitting" on him in response to her blistering tweet. Musk, the world's richest person, had his $US44 billion ($NZ67b) offer to purchase Twitter accepted on Monday. Despite Musk never being named in the tweet, he was quick to respond to Ocasio-Cortez' dig, apparently acknowledging himself as the billionaire with the "ego problem".
