Both fans and critics would likely admit that when Elon Musk says he's going to attempt something, he means it. Weeks after tweeting that traffic was "driving [him] nuts" and that he intended to "build a tunnel boring machine and just start digging," Elon Musk is ready to follow his own example and dive into the project. As USA Today notes, the colossal task of building traffic lanes under LA has already seen its share of fallen champions.
