Actress Ellen Barkin has slammed director Terry Gilliam following his controversial #MeToo comments. 'My hard won advice: never get into an elevator alone with terry gilliam,' Barkin tweeted after the Monty Python star compared #MeToo to 'mob rule'. 'Terry Gilliam is the last man to admonish a movement that is trying to protect women from abusive men,' Barkin tweeted. After the director made comments about the #MeToo movement in January, Barkin tweeted: 'Oh Terry Gilliam, why couldn't you keep your mouth shut and stay gone'. 'I think Terry Gilliam is spewing nonsense.
