Regional News of Friday, 3 September 2021Source: Daniel Kaku, ContributorMember of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle Constituency of the Western Region, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has organized a free eye surgery for four hundred and forty-three (443) residents in his constituency. This follows a free eye screening exercise for the constituents in August 2021 across all the communities in Ellembelle during where 443 aged and youth were identified to have Cataract diseases. "Last year, we did free eye screening for the constituents but we couldn't do the eye surgery because of the Coronavirus but we thank God that this year we are done with the eye screening and we are doing free eye surgeries for 443 cataract patients," he added. Armah Kofi-Buah took the opportunity to commend the doctors and nurses from KATH and Eikwe hospitals for dedicating their time to help his constituents. I have benefitted and God should bless Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah for this gesture."
