Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., announced Saturday that her 2020 campaign had hit one million individual donors by the end of January -- something her campaign called a “powerful moment” just days before the Iowa caucuses. But that’s $12 million more than the $21.2 million the senator brought in during the fourth quarter of fundraising. The progressive standard-bearer from Massachusetts started the quarter with $25.7 million cash on hand and ended the year with $13.7 million in her campaign coffers. With the calendar moving from 2019 to 2020, the presidential campaigns now have to file monthly reports on the fundraising figures. Warren was given a significant boost last week when she received the endorsement of the Des Moines Register.
