Elizabeth Rachel Cruikshank and Dr. Joshua Steven Oppenheimer were married Sept. 15 at the Prospect Park Picnic House in Brooklyn. Judge Jesse M. Furman of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, for whom the bride served as a law clerk, officiated. In October, Ms. Cruikshank, 29, is to begin working as an appellate litigation associate in the Washington office of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, a law firm based in San Francisco. She is the daughter of Tira Harpaz of Manhattan and Peter M. Cruikshank of Mamaroneck, N.Y. Her mother is an independent educational consultant in New York and Mamaroneck.
