World record holder Eliud Kipchoge on Sunday March 6 stunned the world yet again after dominating the 2021 Tokyo Marathon by setting the fastest time in Japanese history. “I’m so proud to win on the streets of Tokyo, where running is in their hearts and minds. It’s great to have now won 4 of the 6 major races in the Abbott World Marathon. My victory today is to bring positivity to this world,” Kipchoge said minutes after winning the race. Seemingly unfazed by the event, Kipchoge raced the course and maintained his impressive form in order to emerge victorious.
