Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin are accused of paying backhanders to get their kids into elite universities. RICHARD SHOTWELL/AP The FBI said Lori Loughlin had been taken into custody in connection with a scheme in which wealthy parents paid bribes to get their children into top colleges. Regarding the recent arrests, one prosecutor stated, "There cannot be a separate college admissions system for the wealthy." Huffman is among 50 people charged in a scheme in which wealthy parents allegedly bribed college coaches and other insiders to get their children into some of the US's most selective schools. But he also had a C on his transcripts, which supposedly meant he couldn't get into the schools his parents had dreamed of him attending.
