A creepy private school teacher who groomed a teenage girl before having sex with her on multiple occasions has been jailed for almost four years. Ben Fenner, 35, was a former teacher at the elite Reddam House at Bondi, in Sydney's east. The District Court heard on Friday a conversation quickly became sexual when the 17-year-old victim initially messaged Fenner on Whatsapp. District Court Judge Robert Webber jailed Fenner for three years and nine months on Friday. He said the offending had had 'powerful and devastating effects' on the teenage victim, who was entitled to expect her teacher would assist her after she asked for help with her biology studies.
