Elling alleges she resigned from the company in 2019 after receiving a “veiled threat” of termination from O'Neail and said she faced retaliation for reporting Pusey’s behavior to Lilly’s human resources department. It was the latest example in a string of large business executives being fired or stepping down because of allegations of inappropriate behavior.
