Under the Prihatin Rakyat Economic Stimulus Package, residential customers will continue to enjoy a discount based on their total monthly electricity consumption until Dec 31 this year. Continue to enjoy discounted ratesFor residential customers who have minimal electricity consumption of up to 200kWh (total bill between RM0.22 and RM43.60), they can get a maximum discount of 50%. Residential customers who have electricity consumption of 201-300kWh (total bill between RM43.93 and RM77.00), they will be entitled to a 25% discount. Those who have electricity consumption of 301-600kWh each month (total bill between RM77.52 and RM231.80) will get a discount of 15%. Residential customers who have electricity consumption of more than 900kWh (total bill RM396.17 and above) will only be eligible for a 2% discount.
