About 900 passengers were offloaded from a train early Tuesday in Mandaluyong City as the Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) suffered a hiccup. An MRT-3 report showed that the train experienced an “electrical failure” around 5:48 a.m. at the southbound section of Shaw Boulevard Station. The service disruption was caused by “worn out electrical sub-components,” the report said.
