Founder of Reva Electric Cars Chetan Maini pointed out that the present climate was conducive for introducing electric vehicles in a big way. He said a State like Andhra Pradesh, banking on renewable energy, should encourage electric vehicles. Prahlad Rao of Mahindra & Mahindra focussed on the safety aspect of the next generation vehicles.
