Elections: Deserted roads, closed shops as Sagamu residents decry postponement


Samson FolarinMany residents of Sagamu, Ogun State, have yet to come to terms with the news of the postponement of the Saturday elections. Our correspondent observed that many shops were still locked and the roads were deserted as of 9.30am. Two residents, Semiu Rasak and Segun Ojo, who spoke to our correspondent, expressed shock at the development and wondered why the Independent National Electoral Commission took the decision at the last minute.
