Photographs of people in NYSC uniform who claim to be INEC ad hoc staff have surfaced online. The youths, in various states of hardship, lament that they had been deployed to various states of the federation as ad hoc staff for the 2019 elections, which have now been postponed. It may be recalled that the National Youth Service Corps has deployed thousands of youth corps members to work as ad hoc staff in the 2019 elections. The NYSC promised to pay each participant corps member N35,000 as election duty allowance. The INEC ad hoc youth corps staff call on the NYSC to speak up on their behalf.
