Law enforcers carry ballot boxes for Khulna City Corporation elections on Monday, May 14, 2018 | Mehedi Hasan/Dhaka TribuneNine vehicles have been banned in the city from Monday midnight to Tuesday midnightThe Election Commission and the Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) has imposed a number of restrictions ahead of the Khulna City Corporation election. The KMP had asked all those who are not residents of the Khulna City Corporation to leave the city after Saturday midnight. Nine vehicles have been banned in the city from Monday midnight to Tuesday midnight. They are – autorickshaws, taxi cabs, microbus, SUVs, pickup trucks, buses, trucks, and tempos. The media has been instructed not to interfere with the election officers or tamper with any of the equipment.
