The Māori Party’s Debbie Ngarewa-Packer​ and Labour’s Adrian Rurawhe​ will take the stand on Monday night at Māori TV's Te Tai Hauāuru electorate debate. Watch live here on Stuff from 7pm as Labour’s incumbent MP Adrian Rurawhe​ and the Māori Party’s Debbie Ngarewa-Packer​ go head to head for the seat of Te Tai Hauāuru Māori in Māori TV’s debate on Monday. Job security is one of the most pressing issues impacting those in the electorate, as well as uncertainty over economic futures. Rurawhe has held the seat since 2014, Ngarewa-Packer – co-leader of the Māori Party and South Taranaki iwi boss – will be contesting it for the first time. Following the debate, journalist Rukuwai Tipene-Allen will be critiquing the candidates’ performance with panellists Georgina Beyer, a former MP, and presenter Tamzyn Pue.
