The Democrats were accused of being wusses for agreeing to protective shields being erected during debates to keep themselves safe from the Super Spreader-in-Chief and his VP. Getty Images US vice-presidential nominees Kamala Harris and Mike Pence debating last Thursday. Frankly, I would have insisted on Hannibal Lecter-style cages for both the infected president and Vice-President Mike Pence, who has been in close proximity to Trump yet refused to quarantine himself. As we watched Pence in last Thursday’s VP debate, it wasn’t only the fly on his noggin that fascinated viewers. Even when I’m not watching the debates, I’m influenced by what’s happened in the daily hustings and have ventured out in to the street to assume a strategic position.
