It was a good day for athletics lovers in Eldoret, given that Eldoret City Marathon was also held yesterday. Sunday’s marathon viewing sessions, dubbed ‘viewerthon’, was organised by Bank of Africa. Athletes who attended the session were trained on investment, anti-doping and taxation. Kipchoge’s wife Grace Sugut who attended the session said the celebrated marathoner had assured her that he would win. “I’m very happy to have seen him win the race,” Sugut, accompanied by their two children Lyne and Gordon, said.
