SAMARAHAN: A 60-year-old villager from Kampung Beliong in Samarahan district was found alive, eight days after he was reported missing in the jungle. Subhi Mud was found by rescuers lying on dense vegetation at about 1.30pm on Monday (Dec 11). Fire and Rescue Department commander Muhamad Syanul Mustapa said the elderly man went missing after he wandered into the forest on Dec 4. The rescue team had combed the forests in the search and found him 1.8kms from the department's mobile jungle camp that was set up for the operations.
