An old man was found shot dead in Lower Mall police limits on Friday. Police said on Friday the old man’s body was spotted by his brothers in a pool of blood at the house. A police team reached the spot on information and shifted the body to morgue for autopsy. Initial investigations suggested that the victim was suffering from acute mental illness. He might have shot himself dead.
