Two people including a man aged 84 died after they were electrocuted while trying to connect a WiFi cable in a village in Sengera, Kisii county. Joseph Mosoti was the first one to be electrocuted as he tried to connect a wifi cable to his house. The motive of the incident was not immediately known, police said as they moved the body to the mortuary. Police said three houses were set ablaze in the incident following the murder of one Samuel Oduor in the area. Another drowning incident was reported in Gatundu, Kiambu county where one Lucas Kinuthia was found dead in the Karumeru stream.
