Mrs. Cecilia Dada, a female Peoples Democratic Party lawmaker representing Ilejemeje Constituency in the Ekiti State House of Assembly, has dumped the party and joined the All Progressives Congress. She said that her decision to dump the PDP in Ekiti was because the party had lost focus. “The party in Ekiti has been reduced to a one-man show with serious in-fighting among its rank and file. The Speaker of Ekiti House of Assembly, Mr Adeniran Alagbada, had lauded lawmakers defecting to the APC, saying they had joined the train of development. The former Speaker of Ekiti Assembly, Mr Dele Olugbemi, assured the defectors of equal opportunities in the party.
