[Stock image]A former Kāpiti Coast doctor is accused of performing multiple unwanted and unnecessary breast examinations on patients, and telling a 15-year-old to consider masturbating. In all the complaints, the women visited the doctor for concerns unrelated to breast health. One said during a consultation for her throat, the doctor performed a breast examination, did not offer a chaperone and told her she was attractive. Another woman said she saw the doctor for a respiratory tract infection and repeat prescriptions but the doctor performed a breast examination that took an unreasonable length of time.
