Eight-time All-Ireland winner Philly McMahon joins Bohemian as first-team performance coach

Bohemians have confirmed that Dublin's eight-time All-Ireland winner Philly McMahon will join the club's coaching staff. McMahon was involved with the backroom team at the Gypsies for last week's 3-0 win over Waterford and now the club have officially welcomed the experienced GAA man to their ranks. "Bohemians can confirm that Dublin footballer Philly McMahon has joined the club as first-team performance coach. We are delighted to have him on board, we welcome Philly to Dalymount Park and we wish him the best of luck in his role with our backroom team," the club said in a statement on Monday evening. McMahon is familiar with Bohs assistant manager Trevor Croly from his time at Shamrock Rovers, when McMahon had a Strength and Conditioning role in Croly's spell as Hoops manager, and Croly has now advised Long to bring McMahon on board.
