Eight suspected burglars were Sunday night shot dead during a bizarre botched robbery incident in Industrial Area, Nairobi. The men were said to be planning a robbery at a godown when police were alerted. This is the single biggest number of suspects to be killed at a go in recent years. Senior officers visited the scene later on after learning about the number of people killed. Nairobi police boss Rashid Yakub said they are investigating the incident and trying to get those who escaped for questioning.
