Northeastern Liaoning province reported eight new confirmed coronavirus infections and two asymptomatic carriers, all locals, on Monday, the provincial health commission said on Tuesday. One new asymptomatic patient and six new confirmed locals are from Shenyang, capital of the province, the China Daily reports. The other asymptomatic patient and two confirmed patients are from the port city Dalian. As of Monday, Liaoning province has 48 confirmed infections and 31 asymptomatic patients being treated in the hospital.
