Ahead of this year’s eid-el-kabir celebration, the Police in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja have arrested a notorious four-man ‘one chance’ robbery syndicate members in the metropolis. This was contained in a statement made available to news men in Abuja on Sunday by the Police Public Relations Officer of the command, ASP Yusuf Mariam. Mariam said that the suspects were arrested by detectives of the command’s Anti-Violent Crimes Section in the Wuse area during a routine patrol. She added that efforts were in top gear to arrest the fleeing member of the syndicate while the arrested suspects would soon be arraigned upon the conclusion of the ongoing Investigations. They hijacked an Abuja-bound aircraft, the Nigerian Airways airbus A310, and diverted it to Niger Republic.
