ASSOCIATED PRESSEgyptian billionaire Nassef Sawiris has donated $6 million to the University of Chicago Booth School of Business to launch the first custom-designed Executive Education program in El Gouna, a modern resort town on Egypt’s Red Sea. According to a Press release issued by the University, Sawiris made the donation through the Sawiris Family Foundation in May. In future years, the program plans to include participants from the greater Middle East and North Africa region. A University of Chicago graduate, he donated $20 million to the school in 2015 to fund scholarships in his father's name for Egyptian students. He also previously established a fellowship program that included student exchange between Cairo University and Chicago University.
