Egyptian students design water-powered engine


Baher Abu-steit, dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Misr University for Science and Technology, described the undergraduate students at the faculty as having the capabilities that would qualify them to compete in the job market. Abu-Steit explained that they have the innovative ideas and projects that the state needs, such as water conservation projects, energy production projects, and waste recycling projects. Students also presented an electric vehicle design project to conserve the environment, in addition to another project that improves the efficiency of solar collectors. Abu Steit confirmed that the Faculty of Engineering at Misr University for Science and Technology is keen to graduate engineers who can participate in building a developed society. The college also contributes to preparing its students to compete efficiently in the labor market with high skills, qualifying them to participate effectively in the national projects of Egypt.
