CAIRO - 8 October 2022: President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi congratulated Egyptians and the Arab World on Saturday on the occasion of Mawlid Al-Nabi anniversary (Prophet Muhammad's birthday). "Let us make this virtuous memory a beacon, an approach, and a model that strengthens our determination and will in building our lives and future,” Sisi said in a social media post. Egyptians celebrate the Mawlid on Saturday this year, which is a paid holiday for the public and private sectors. Sisi said Prophet Muhamamd is a role model for humanity, adding that his life was dominated by a superior morality. President Sisi, meanwhile, greeted people of Egypt and all the Arab and Muslim peoples on Mawlid, urging the Egyptians to follow the example of Prophet Muhammad.
