Egyptian ed-tech startup OBM Education has announced a six-figure funding round to enhance its footprint in Saudi Arabia. Founded in 2020 by Omar El-Barbary and Ezz El-Din Farag, OBM helps pre-university students choose their college majors and provides them with access to career advice and training programmes. OBM Education has now secured a six-figure investment from Value Maker Studio (VMS) to speed its expansion across Saudi Arabia. With VMS, we’re solidifying our resolve to enrich the educational journey of every student,” said El-Barbary. OBM’s latest funding comes after it raised a six-figure US dollar round of funding from EdVentures back in August 2022.
