The meetings of the Egyptian and Saudi working groups, held between the period of 14 to 16 May, concluded in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Egyptian delegation to Saudi Arabia was headed by Saeed Abdallah, the deputy minister of trade, while the Saudi delegation was headed by Mohamed Al Abd, deputy assistant to the Saudi minister of trade and investment. The meetings were an implementation of the recommendations that were issued during the meetings of the fifth session of the Egyptian-Saudi committee, which was held in April. During the conclusion of the meetings, a date was set to look into activating industrial cooperation between the two parties and ways of increasing Saudi investments in Egypt. The meetings also included discussing cooperation in the implementation of major petroleum projects between Egyptian and Saudi petroleum companies.
