The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir square achieved revenues of EGP 3m in October, according to the general supervisor of the museum Sabah Abdel Razek. She said that the number of Arabs, foreigners, and Egyptians who visited the Egyptian Museum last month reached 40,000. The number of foreigners and Egyptians who visited the Egyptian Museum in November increased by 40% compared to recent months. Abdel Razek predicted that the opening of the Egyptian Museum for evening visitations would increase the number of visitors which will contribute to maximising revenues. Alnasser Group took over the development of the lighting system inside the museum at a cost of EGP 1.2m.
