CAIRO – 15 April 2021: Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, highlighted the need to prioritize peaceful solutions to the issues facing the Arab nations as they made a video call on Thursday. The two ministers also agreed on the need to stop foreign interference in the Arab countries’ domestic affairs, a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry read. Shoukry hailed the continuous efforts made by Morocco, as the head of the Jerusalem Committee, to highlight the Arab and religious identity of Jerusalem. The Egyptian FM also hailed Morocco’s serious and credible efforts to advance a fair and permanent solution to the issue. Shoukry hailed the Morocco’s support to Egypt in this regard.
